We have an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Machinist to join our inclusive team in Freeport, IL. The Machinist will operate and set up conventional, numerical control (NC), and specialized machines and machining centers to accurately machine steel and brass components. The wage range for this position is $26.93 - $29.00, plus a 10% shift differential. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
A $1,500 sign‑on bonus is available, with $750 paid after 3 months and $750 after 6 months.

WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace; adheres to safety regulations and promotes a culture of workplace safety.
- Complies with all standard operating procedures, control plans, processes, and quality standards; operates multiple machines efficiently.
- Assesses situations impartially and makes timely decisions to enhance work performance.
- Effectively organizes and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines with high quality while anticipating potential challenges.
- Employs innovative strategies and ideas to resolve issues, optimizing resource use.
- Performs all required Total Productive Environment (TPE) activities and maintains necessary personal tools.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedural guides.
- Proficient in performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- MUST have machining experience. This position is not eligible for company sponsorship.
