Must-Have:
- Experience in general surgery, orthopedic surgeries, ENT, urology, gynecology, C-sections, and podiatry.
- Scrubbing experience is a plus.
- Average one weeknight call.
- 24-hour call required every fifth weekend.
- On-call coverage for holidays.
Description:
Department has 4 suites, 2 minor procedure rooms, and an OB C-section room.
Average number of cases per day is between 15-20.
Seeking seasoned travelers with well-rounded experience.
Prefer candidates with cataracts experience but not required.
Shifts rotate to cover late discharges with scheduling done 4 weeks in advance for 6 weeks.
Call response time is 20 minutes.
No floating requirements.
Scrubs provided.
Department-specific orientation with a preceptor for 1-2 weeks.
All travelers with previous employment must disclose it for a DNU check.
