As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for leading our team of nursing professionals to deliver high-quality care and services to our residents. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Clinical Operations: Ensure that our residents receive exceptional care and attention, including medication management, wound care, and other clinical services.
- Team Management: Lead and develop our team of nursing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Quality Improvement: Work with our quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance our care delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our facility is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those set by the State of Illinois and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active RN or LPN license, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a track record of success in improving care outcomes and staff engagement.
- Skills: Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of long-term care needs. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.
