System One is e are seeking a high-caliber Mechanical Engineer to join an engineering team in Houston, TX. This role is a temporary field assignment working in maintenance and service department.

 Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment   is responsible for:  

+  Attend vendor and internal team meetings

+  Specify vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, vessel internals and other static process equipment

+  Prepare equipment data sheets, and full mechanical equipment and system specifications

+  Perform technical and economic evaluations, bid tabulations, and prepare recommendations

+  Attend vendor design and fabrication kickoff meetings

+  Perform ASME/NBIC/API code repair and alteration calculations as well as FFS evaluations

 Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment   Requirements  :

+  Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

+  5-10 years of static equipment experience for industrial applications

+  Professional Engineer License

+  TWIC Card is a plus

+  Experience in Pipe Stress Analysis using CAESAR II software

+  Experience working with ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and API Standards for static equipment

+  Strong

Experience with ASME B31.1 and B31.3 Piping Codes

+  Experience using PRG Solutions Software (FEPipe, Nozzle Pro, etc.) for Analysis

+  Experience using HTRI for heat exchanger design and troubleshooting

+  E xperience with COMPRESS pressure vessel design software

+  Strong attention to detail and capable to perform detailed technical document and drawing checking
