Body Shop Technician
Assess and repair damages to vehicles damaged during transport and damages that occur internally.
Essential Functions:
- Verify VIN or vehicle with VIN on work order.
- Inspect body prep work before painting.
- Prepare and paint vehicle.
- Vaseor must complete hotline on unit if unit requires hotline.
- RO must be completed and submitted to admin.
- Periodic inspections of booths, filters, lights, temperature, etc. to ensure booths are properly operating.
- Inspect unit after work is complete.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct reports.
Work Environment:
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
Moderate physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position may require overtime.
Travel:
This position does not have any travel requirements.
Required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
Computer Operations:
Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge
Must have a valid Driver's License.
