Quality Assurance - QA/QC
Quality Control - QC Analysts/Managers, Production QC/QA, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The QA/QC Auditor is responsible for conducting systematic audits and inspections of site processes, products, and systems to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and external regulations. This role is a blend of Quality Assurance (process-focused) and Quality Control (product-focused) activities.
Essential Functions- Internal Audits:
Plan, execute, and report on internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) and operational processes (e.g., production, warehousing, maintenance) to verify compliance with documented procedures and ISO standards. - Product Inspection:
Perform detailed, scheduled, and unscheduled inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to confirm they meet quality specifications. - Documentation Review:
Review batch records, inspection reports, and other quality documentation for completeness and accuracy. - Non-Conformance Follow-up:
Document audit findings and non-conformances, and follow up with process owners to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions. - Contract Compliance:
Stay current with relevant regulations and standards, ensuring site practices are compliant. - Knowledge of ISO standards and QMS principles

This position has no direct reports.
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.
Physical DemandsLight physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, normally working 8 hours per day. This position may require overtime.
TravelThis position has no travel requirements.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or auditing role.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles and techniques. Ability to use various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
Education and Experience
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
Computer OperationsProficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Work Authorization/Security ClearanceMust be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).
