Work collaboratively in a laboratory environment, supporting chemists and engineers in the development, screening, and commercialization of new products and processes.;
Manage and safely execute laboratory work requests, operate relevant laboratory apparatus and testing equipment, and document data.;
Accurately record readings and observations with relevant equipment and instruments, understanding how duties integrate with the team's work.;
Take responsibility for calibration, safe operation, and routine maintenance of both simple and moderately complex instruments or machinery; troubleshoot and initiate repairs as necessary.;
Maintain inventories of consumable materials, chemicals, and supplies by anticipating usage rates, order lead times, and following purchasing procedures.
