ResponsibilitiesAs a geologist/environmental scientist you will work alongside a multi‑disciplinary team consisting of experienced technicians, engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and other consulting staff. Your responsibilities include conducting field work such as sampling soils, groundwater, air, concrete, sand‑blast media, performing environmental/ geotechnical drilling activities, performing site assessments, overseeing subcontractors, coordinating and planning tasks, and participating in daily tailgate meetings and project‑specific calls while reviewing and evaluating data and reporting to internal staff and clients.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in geology or environmental sciences (required)
- Minimum 4 years of experience within environmental consulting or a comparable field (required)
- Dedication to a robust health and safety culture
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team
- Proficiency and ownership in project tasks
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time
- 4‑6 years of experience within environmental consulting or a comparable field
- Geology degree or environmental sciences with environmental coursework
- Experience working on active project sites and overseeing subcontractors
- Strong attention to detail when conducting field work and evaluating data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work closely with clients and demonstrate proficiency when discussing project tasks

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
