As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Control in Freeport, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a major chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. • Monitor and control access to the location, verify credentials, and grant entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Provide customer service to clients, follow security procedures and site policies, and respond to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site management as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security-related incidents, document details, and escalate as necessary.
• Assist with enforcing compliance with company policies related to access control and prohibited items within the chemical/petrochemical environment.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
