** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.

+ Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and retrieving visitor credentials, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and guests according to site requirements.

+ Screen and process visitors, deliveries, and contractors by confirming appointments, required authorizations, and destination information, and notifying site contacts as needed.

+ Monitor access control systems, alarms, and gate equipment, and report irregular conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

+ Maintain accurate logs and reports for arrivals and departures, vehicle entries, key control activities, and incident-related documentation.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting on-site response teams as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations.

+ Support traffic and vehicle flow at gates and checkpoints, including directing commercial vehicles to designated staging areas and verifying shipping and receiving documentation when required.

+ Participate in drills, briefings, and shift turnovers, and communicate post updates, procedural changes, and observed concerns to incoming personnel.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least 1+ years of security experience is required.

+ A TSA issued TWIC is required.

+ Customer service experience preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
