Marine Deckhands - 14/7 - $155/day - Freeport, TX

This company is seeking Marine Deckhands to join their fleet boat operations in Freeport, Texas. Deckhands are responsible for building tows, handling lines and cables, and performing scheduled vessel maintenance and general housekeeping. The ideal candidates are safety-conscious, physically fit, and able to work a 14/7 rotation with 12-hour shifts in outdoor conditions. Applicants must live within 45 minutes of Freeport, TX and be prepared for a hands-on, physically demanding role.

• $155 per day wage
• 14 days on/7 days off rotation

• Must live within 45 minutes of Freeport, TX
• Valid TWIC card in hand prior to applying
• Valid driver’s license
• No DWI or DUI in the last three years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Meet all United States Coast Guard physical and drug testing requirements
• Valid state-issued birth certificate and social security card
• Must be at least 18 years old
• No pending criminal charges or probation
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must not be color blind
• Physical ability to walk 2-3 miles per day, climb ladders, lift and carry up to 75 lbs, and meet vision, hearing, and pulmonary standards
• Ability to use firefighting and spill containment equipment
