City of Freeport Texas is seeking a Mechanic - Public Works Streets/Service Center to maintain heavy-duty streets and drainage equipment, public works vehicles, and public safety vehicles under the Public Works Director.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Texas Driver's License (Class B or higher), ASE certification in heavy equipment and diesel engines, and a minimum of two years of mechanic experience. Shift is 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with non-standard hours as needed.
