Mustbeabletoworksafelyinanindustrialenvironmentandcoordinateeffectivelywithoperations,maintenance,andcontractorteams.

Summary/Objective

AScaffold

Leadmanisresponsibleforperformingerection,maintaininganddismantlingassignmentsaspartofacrew,underthedirectsupervisionofacompetentperson.

Thispositionrequiresanexperienced,self-motivated,safety-conscienceindividualwhoisfamiliarwithOSHAscaffoldingregulations.

Essential Functions

• AdherestoallOSHA,sitespecificand
  
  Marquis Construction Servicesrequirementsfortheconstruction ,assemblyanddismantlingofthescaffolding.
• Inspectsjobsiteandallscaffoldmaterialfordefectandsafetyhazards
• Participateinsafetypre-jobaudits(JSA’s) withthescaffoldingcrewtoensureallsafetyhazardshavebeenidentified
• Providesupporttoascaffoldingcrewintheerection,maintaininganddismantlingofscaffoldingstructures.
• Inspectscaffoldingcomponentsfordamageandotherdefects.
• Utilizescaffoldingtoolsintheerection,maintaininganddismantlingofscaffolding
• Participatesinthelevelingandsquaringofscaffoldbase,attaching braces,horizontals,ladders,toeboards,swing gates.
• Performgeneralhousekeepingonthejobsite
• Anyotherdutiesasassignedbysupervision

Qualifications

• Atleasttwoyearsofscaffoldingexperiencepreferred
• Mustbewillingtoworkovertime
• RequiredtowearPPEonjobsiteatalltimes.
