- Current licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Professions
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to participate in pool activities with individuals, including lifting and swimming as needed

- Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association

What Vital Assistance Do You Provide?This rehabilitation position will involve working 32 hours per week during daytime hours, offering a consistent and predictable schedule to support your work-life balance.
As a Pediatric Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in our day program, you will provide direct physical therapy treatment to children according to the plans established by our Physical Therapists. You will also train Day Habilitation Aides and Residential Supporters on range of motion exercises and ambulation techniques, ensure safety and progress, observe and document progress, and provide regular feedback to the supervising therapist to refine treatment plans.
You will maintain thorough documentation of all treatment activities, including monthly flow sheets and quarterly notes. There is also the opportunity to participate in pool activities with the children, including assisting with lifting and swimming as part of therapeutic goals.
