We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Family Services to lead our department with enthusiasm and strategic vision. In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team, foster family engagement, and serve as a vital liaison among schools, community partners, and agencies. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Family Services Department, ensuring high-quality service delivery by case managers.
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, safety reviews, transition planning, and interdisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain effective communication with LEAs, DCF, DCYF, and other agencies.
- Support admissions process and coordinate transitions to adult services.
- Serve as a licensed signatory for treatment documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
- Organize and participate in family events and community engagement activities.
- Promote family-driven, person-centered care and foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional licensure such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in case management, child welfare, or related services.
- Experience working with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $86,000 to $98,000, based on experience.
