Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a high‑growth startup in Fremont, CA to hire a Staff Accountant on a temp‑to‑hire basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced, expanding organization where your work will have immediate impact. You will work alongside a supportive leadership team and be mentored by a Controller and Senior Accountant who are invested in your growth and development.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Support audit requests and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare financial reports and assist with ad‑hoc analysis
• Partner cross‑functionally to improve processes and reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Net Suite experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Strong understanding of general ledger and month‑end close
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
