Accounting Manager

Zerova Technologies is hiring an Accounting Manager to supervise, track, and evaluate day‑to‑day accounting activities. The role involves establishing financial status, developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information, and working closely with the financial management team.

• Coordinate with other departments and warehouses to identify and resolve invoice issues efficiently.
• Verify accounts payable for proper approval prior to payment.
• Enter payable information into the company’s accounting/payment system.
• Process payments (ACH, checks, wires).
• Solve vendor payment issues.
• Lead month‑end close and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare general ledger entries to ensure and maintain accurate posting into the accounting system.
• Provide accurate and timely reports, including financial analysis and operational metrics.
• Manage daily cash flow, verify all transactions deposited or withdrawn from the company bank account, prepare daily cash reports, and generate monthly bank reconciliations per top management requests.
• Prepare all required information for sales tax, use tax filing, and 1099 filing.
• Coordinate with CPA to complete quarterly and annual audits, including statutory audits.
• Maintain and oversee fixed asset lists with depreciation database updates.
• Resolve expense report discrepancies in compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Supervise AR billing and AP payments, ensuring transactions comply with IRS regulations and federal/state tax rules.
• Conduct internal audits as required by HQ.
• Establish, follow, and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Prove working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
• Demonstrate advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Manipulate large amounts of data efficiently.
• Show proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Lead and supervise a team effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of work experience at a general accountant level.
• 3+ years of experience in an Accounting Supervisor or Manager role.
• Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience using Microsoft Suite tools:
  Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and high level of communication.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and prioritize workloads with competing deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, quick learner, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is a team player.
• High attention to detail.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA, Monday‑Friday from 10am to 7pm.
