Required Skills:- Minimum 5+ years of progressive U.S. payroll experience, with hands‑on expertise in processing payroll for 180+ employees
- Strong proficiency with ADP payroll systems (mandatory)
- Working experience with Oracle and SAP platforms (preferred)
- In‑depth knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll laws, multi‑state taxation, and compliance
- Expertise in payroll accounting, reconciliations, and general ledger processes
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical abilities, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Skills:
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or multinational corporate environments
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Experience supporting ADP system upgrades, integrations, or automation initiatives
- Knowledge of payroll interfaces with Oracle/SAP
- Past involvement with external payroll providers and audit processes
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Prior experience supporting payroll in a high‑paced, tech‑focused setting
- Knowledge of payroll process automation and process improvement strategies
- Location:
Fremont, CA with a flexible schedule of three days in‑office - Immediate availability for interviews and onboarding
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Experience working in a multi‑state, compliance‑focused environment
