Palm Academy is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and energetic Administrative Support & Floater Teacher to join our team. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is willing to help wherever needed to support the school's smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Duties- Maintain and organize student and staff files.
- Assist with filing, record keeping, and office organization.
- Support enrollment, attendance, and general office operations.
- Answer phones, greet families, and assist visitors as needed.
- Assist with copying, scanning, data entry, and administrative projects.
- Prepare and serve snacks and lunches according to school procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide teachers break coverage throughout the day.
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain proper ratios and supervision.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines.
- Support children in a caring, safe, and nurturing manner.
- Drive for school‑related errands and tasks as assigned.
- Assist with classroom setup, supplies, and inventory organization.
- Support school events, field trips, and special activities.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming school environment.
- High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
- Experience in childcare, preschool, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform active duties throughout the day.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Must be able to pass all required background clearances.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities.
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed.
