As a Mechanical Associate V, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring every vehicle meets Car Max’s standards for safety and reliability. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles with precision and care, covering engine repair, transmission work, steering, suspension, and brake systems across a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles. You’ll work in a modern, climate‑controlled facility, collaborating with a skilled team, and receiving ongoing training and career advancement opportunities.

• Diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet Car Max’s standards for safety and performance.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Expand expertise across multiple vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Deliver exceptional service that reflects Car Max’s commitment to honesty and customer care.
• Follow Car Max Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain an orderly work area.

• Proven experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance standards.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
