Job Title:
Infrastructure Supply Chain Analyst
Location:
Onsite, Fremont, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Summary:
The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage and measure global asset management. A typical Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for buying goods and services and analyze performance of suppliers.
Must have Skills:
- Supply chain (Data Center preferred, Hardware), Analytics (Supply Demand, Cost analysis etc.)
- Should be able to work independently and circle back with insights to the team.
Nice to Have:
- Datacenter experience (would be an Ideal fit)
- Supply Chain experience (Engg. background would be nice to have easy to connect and understand the process and technology)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes
- Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
- Support with supply demand, inventory management and pricing analysis for various commodities.
- Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
- Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization
- Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
- Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
- Administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
- Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills. (must have)
- Expert ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data. (must have)
- Expert ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (must have)
- Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. (nice to have)
- Expert knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing. (moderate is acceptable)
- Expert knowledge of supply chain management. (must)
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. (must have)
- Strong analytical skills
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required.
