Senior Data Scientist

This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA. We’re looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to work on merchandising, pricing, promotion finance, and user behavior data to guide strategy and operations.

• Develop and analyze sales and operation data to help guide business decisions using data and statistical analysis.
• Work with growing datasets, conducting ad hoc analysis to quickly inform stakeholders on critical business decisions.
• Create models for proposed sales initiatives and track ongoing improvements in sales and profitability.
• Develop data visualizations to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges.
• Conduct root cause analysis on monitored KPIs to determine causes of planned metric disparities.
• Work closely with sales and merchandising teams to create and track key metrics for our business, and share actionable insights.
• Partner with Data Engineering to craft our data infrastructure investments in support of BI needs and ensure proper tracking and data quality.
• Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence the direction of the business by communicating metrics and results to stakeholders.
• Maintain effective time management, organization skills, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics or related analytical fields.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Sales and Operations Analytics.
• Experience with Business Process Optimization.
• Proficiency in Data Visualization and Dashboards.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, data management.
• Experience in Financial and Performance Reporting.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration experience.
• Market Research experience.

• US base salary for the full‑time position is $103,522.
• Role may be eligible for discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
