As the external trade compliance environment evolves, Mattson Technology now operates independently from the parent company in product, business, and operations, serving customers outside of China.
We're looking for a candidate with strong U.S. export/import compliance experience, with particular emphasis on the EAR. The role will support Mattson's trade compliance program and work closely with Shipping, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and outside logistics providers.
Key Qualifications- 5+ years of import/export compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of EAR, OFAC, U.S. Customs, and foreign trade regulations
- ECCN and HTS classification experience
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Manage day-to-day export and import compliance activities
- Perform ECCN and HTS classifications
- Maintain denied party screening and deemed export processes
- Support licensing, audits, and compliance monitoring activities
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Assist with cross-functional trade compliance initiatives
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on import/export requirements
- Support and maintain Mattson's overall trade compliance program
