Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site execution of large-scale multifamily and mixed-use developments construction. This role is responsible for overall field operations, safety, quality, and schedule control from site start through final turnover. The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader and manages all field personnel and subcontractor activities.
Core Responsibilities- Lead daily construction operations from pre-construction through project closeout
- Direct and mentor field teams including Superintendents, Assistants, Foremen, and subcontractors
- Manage project schedules, sequencing, manpower, and material flow
- Enforce safety programs, environmental compliance, and jobsite standards
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control efforts
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate field execution
- Track progress, productivity, and field documentation (logs, photos, reports)
- Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and resolve field issues proactively
- Serve as the primary on-site contact with inspectors, consultants, vendors, and ownership teams
- Support unit readiness, punch lists, and final acceptance activities
- Associate degree or equivalent construction experience
- 6+ years of superintendent-level experience in multifamily or mixed-use construction
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and fire systems
- OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and stormwater compliance training
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as projects require
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Excellent communication with field crews and external stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schedules
- Solid planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with construction management software and MS Office
- Predominantly field-based role on active construction sites
- Requires walking, climbing, lifting, and working in varying outdoor conditions
- Must consistently follow safety and PPE requirements
