Senior Project Manager

Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a Construction Project Manager who will be playing a critical role in factory buildout, upgrading, maintaining operations, and optimizing systems for the most exciting company in the world. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining budgets and schedules.

What You'll Do:

* Takes ownership of assigned projects and scopes, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction, opportunities, and cost savings

* Evaluates bidding, material buyouts, and negotiating opportunities for potential and assigned projects

* Maintains effective communication with personnel, including QC, QA, CX, and Facilities

* Completes project startup procedures, including but not limited to:
Making projections, budgeting, and performing job cost entry for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts

* Prepares major purchase orders while following appropriate pricing and scope evaluations

* Reviews project plans, P&'s, single-line diagrams, and loop diagrams to account for all material and hardware

* Manages projects according specifications, procedures, and policies
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience

* 3-5 years of Project Management in commercial construction, large scale projects

* Experience with MEP scopes and projects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)

* Experience working at a large GC (general contractor) is a plus

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Executive Reporting experience and knowledge

* Effective reasoning and judgment skills

* Proficiency with or ability to learn how to use Primavera, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite, accounting software, estimating software, and other required systems and software

* Ability to read and interpret all contract documents, plans, specifications, and requirements
