Salary: $50,000 – $80,200 annually (DOE)

Hiring: At least 2 Positions Available

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Managers to join our growing team in Fremont, California. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in industrial construction while working alongside experienced Project Managers on exciting, fast-paced projects.

Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects from start to finish. This position serves as a key liaison between project managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and field personnel to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Project Coordination
  • Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.
  • Help monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate daily activities among field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Track project milestones and proactively identify potential delays.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor schedules.
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day construction issues.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Help ensure materials arrive accurately and on schedule.
Documentation & Project Administration
  • Contracts
  • RFIs
  • Change Orders
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Project Logs Ensure documentation complies with company standards and client requirements.
  • Support project reporting and administrative functions.
Site Support & Quality Assurance
  • Visit project sites as required.
  • Monitor construction progress.
  • Assist with quality inspections.
  • Verify work complies with project specifications.
  • Promote compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Communication & Reporting
  • Prepare project status reports.
  • Track key project metrics.
  • Communicate project updates to management and project teams.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
Qualifications Required
  • Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project coordination experience.
  • Experience in industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom construction.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel between job sites as needed.
  • Ability to walk active construction sites.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
