Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are looking for a Manager, Visual Merchandising to own how our home fashion assortment is seen and shopped across every digital surface. This role sets the visual and styling direction for the brand — bedding, bath, quilts, decorative textiles — and translates that direction into the imagery, content modules, and collection storytelling that drive conversion on the digital shelf.

This is a visual merchandising role first. Roughly two-thirds of the work is digital shelf presentation, merchandising standards, and partnering across Design, Product Development, and the graphic team to get the right assets live. The remaining third is hands‑on digital marketing support: briefing retail media creative, running content tests, and feeding organic and social content. The ideal candidate has a merchant's eye and a marketer's comfort with performance data.

Primary

Responsibilities — Visual Merchandising (~65%) Seasonal visual direction
  • Partner with the Design and Product Development teams, who own trend, color, pattern, and texture direction, and translate their seasonal direction into digital shelf presentation and merchandising standards.
  • Build and maintain seasonal category‑level visual standards that internal teams and external partners work from.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and category shop‑alongs; document where our presentation wins and where it loses on the shelf.
Photography partnership
  • Serve as the merchandising voice to the graphic team, who own photo guide production at volume: define what imagery the digital shelf needs by category — on‑white, detail, in‑scene lifestyle, and video.
  • Review delivered assets against merchandising standards and retailer requirements; flag quality issues, gaps, and missing angles, and prioritize what gets fixed first.
  • Identify optimization opportunities in the photo guide process based on what performs on‑page, and feed those learnings back to the graphic team.
Digital shelf presentation
  • Define and maintain the image hierarchy using company library and sequencing standard for product detail pages: hero, alt image order, info graphic placement, lifestyle, and scale/dimension imagery.
  • Design and merchandise enhanced content modules (A+ / brand story / comparison charts) and keep them current with assortment changes.
  • Curate the Brand Store and equivalent branded shop experiences: collection groupings, landing page hierarchy, seasonal refresh cadence, and cross‑sell logic across bedding, bath, and decorative.
  • Ensure every asset meets retailer‑specific technical and content specifications before publication.
Asset governance
  • Own naming conventions, versioning, and organization within the company library; make sure the right asset is easy for any team to find and hard to misuse.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for which images and modules are live where, and audit for drift on a set cadence.
  • Partner with the copy and content teams so visual and written merchandising tell one story, not two.
Reporting and communication
  • Present a monthly recap at the ecommerce meeting covering visual merchandising updates shipped that month, with before/after examples of the work.
  • Report what worked and what did not — including tests and refreshes that under performed — with the read on why and what changes as a result.
  • Maintain a running record of presentation changes and their outcomes so each recap builds a cumulative view rather than restarting month to month.
Secondary Responsibilities — Digital Marketing (~35%)
  • Write and manage creative briefs for retail media and paid social; review creative against brand standards and placement requirements before launch.
  • Design and read structured content tests (hero image, module layout, lifestyle vs. product‑forward) and translate results into…
