- Provide educational and academic leadership for excellence in teaching and learning within a Learning College philosophy.
- Direct, manage, and coordinate the programs and activities of the Arts and Social Sciences Division in Academic Affairs.
- Develop and coordinate program and course schedules responding to student needs and enrollment targets.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of full‑time, adjunct, and non‑faculty staff.
- Conduct and facilitate the Program and Services Review process integrating with the College’s strategic planning.
- Develop and implement student learning outcomes and assessment activities at the program and course levels.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, laws, and policies.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to build inclusive teams and bridge divisional boundaries.
- Possession of a Master’s degree.
- One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator’s assignment.
- Commitment to equity‑based and anti‑racist practices in a community college environment.
- Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and an understanding of equity‑minded practices.
- Desirable:
Five years of responsible education‑related experience including two years of teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting. - Desirable:
Demonstrated success in the knowledge and ability areas listed above.
