Description
We seek a teacher with a commitment to teaching introductory GIS who has an analytically rich pedagogy and engaged geospatial practice in community cartography, critical data studies, geocomputation, remote sensing, or GIS. Thematic areas of interest could include (but are not restricted to) geospatial research in racial/ethnic inequalities and/or human rights, accessibility mapping, political ecology, environmental politics, nature-society dynamics, data sovereignty, or data visualization/sonification.
Part‑time faculty job postings are continuous recruitments used to create applicant pools to fill part‑time temporary teaching assignments on an as‑needed basis. Academic Divisions/Departments will refer to the pool of applications on file as need arises. Applications are accepted year‑round and will remain in the pool for two years.

Duties and Responsibilities- Master's in geography;
- OR
- Bachelor's in geography AND Master's in geology, history, meteorology or oceanography; OR the equivalent; AND
