Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist is needed to provide PreK assessments for students turning three years old. This contract position is based in Fremont, California, at the Turnbull Child Development Center, a specialized site with unique onboarding requirements due to state regulations. The role focuses solely on conducting assessments using the PSW model and the SEIS platform, working closely with the PreK team during student intake processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive PreK assessments for eligible students turning three.
  • Collaborate with the PreK team to support intake and evaluation procedures.
  • Utilize the PSW assessment model and SEIS platform effectively.
  • Comply with the specific guidelines and protocols of the Turnbull Child Development Center.
  • Complete all required onboarding procedures as mandated by state law.

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Valid certification as a school psychologist.
  • Experience with early childhood assessments, specifically PreK evaluations.
  • Familiarity with the PSW model is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency using SEIS or similar educational software platforms.
  • Ability to complete in-depth onboarding processes related to specialized sites.

Location and

Schedule:

  • Position located at Turnbull Child Development Center, Fremont, CA.
  • Contract duration from ASAP through June 12.
  • Work schedule:

    32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate between $60 and $75.
