- Brookvale Elementary and Forest Park – TK–5th Grade
- Glankler Early Learning – PreK Only
Monday – Friday, 2:45–6:00 PM – No weekends.
Pay & Benefits- $19.00

BEST program tuition rates for each eligible child in attendance (please ask an HR team member or manager for qualification guidelines).
- At least 18 years of age.
- Education:
Completion of at least 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development, covering:- Child Growth and Development
- Child, Family, and Community
- ECE Curriculum
- Experience:
At least 6 months of experience at a licensed preschool (minimum 3 hours per day for 50 days). Individuals with a CDA credential may have completed the required six months of work experience instead of the hours; such experience must be verified. - A teacher must have completed, with passing grades, at least six post‑secondary semester or equivalent quarter units of the education requirement specified above, or obtained a Child Development Assistant Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
As an Alpha
BEST Program Leader, you’ll be trained to:
- Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more.
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children’s sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students’ interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family‑oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
