Pay: $29-$32 per hour (Based on experience and education)

Schedule:
Must be available Monday
- Friday. Hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No weekends!

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of professionals to deliver the highest quality care, learning, and excitement to our children.
• Train AlphaBEST staff on how to nurture children and ignite their sense of wonder.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.

• The Program Director must be at least 21 years old.
• Program Directors must complete one of the following before employment:
• High school graduation or GED; completion, with passing grades, of 15 semester or equivalent units.
• Three of the 15 units required in (h)(1) above shall be in administration or staff relations.
• Twelve of the 15 units required in (h)(1) above shall include courses that cover the general areas of child growth and development, or human growth and development; child, family and community, or child and family; and program/curriculum.
• Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited or approved college or university with a major or emphasis in early childhood education or child development; and at least two years of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
• Associate of Arts Degree with at least two years of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited or approved college or university with a major or emphasis in early childhood education or child development and at least one year of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
• Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or a Child Development Program Director Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
