Requirements / Qualifications

Two letters of recommendation, documentation of passing the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Examination or 48 semester units or equivalent to an Associate of Arts degree or higher. Ability to frequently interpret and translate a language (Spanish) other than the English language among students, parents and school-based staff members.

Education:

Equivalent to graduation from high school.

Experience:

No formal work experience is required.

The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations. All applications and supplemental information will be reviewed to determine the candidates whose training and experience most closely match the requirements of the position. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the testing process, which may include written, oral and/or performance exams.

The testing results will determine the rank of the candidates from which an eligibility list is prepared. Selection will be made from the top three ranks on the list. The written exam is tentatively scheduled for the week of August 3rd (subject to change). The oral exam is tentatively scheduled for the week of August 10th (subject to change).
