Our client, a leader in clean energy technology, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join their innovative team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be an essential part of the Engineering Department supporting the development and maintenance of advanced energy systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Range: $32-$36
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
What's the Job?
Assist in system electrical layout and design to support energy platform deployment
Specify and select electrical materials including wiring, connectors, and PLCs
Create and update wiring lists and electrical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance
Perform I/O testing on systems to prepare for startup and ensure operational readiness
Rework wiring harnesses and troubleshoot hardware issues to maintain system integrity
What's Needed?
High school diploma with relevant training certification
At least 7 years of related electrical experience in a technical environment
Ability to work from PID and wiring schematics accurately
Proficiency with electrical hand-held devices such as DVM and DMM
Knowledge of electrical safety practices including Lock-out-tag-out procedures
