We are looking for an
** Electrical Technician/Lab Manager
** to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director, Electrical Engineering and is based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

* Role and Responsibilities:

*
* • Assist in system electrical layout  
• Specify improved electrical materials including wiring, connectors, PLC’s etc.  
• Create FRACAS (Failure Reporting and Cost Analysis System) entries as needed  
• Rework wiring harnesses as technical changes arise  
• Create wiring lists, and convert to electrical drawings  
• Make technical changes to hardware layout and administer using the ECO process  
• Perform I/O testing on systems in order to ready for startup  
• Assist in system startup procedures  
• Bench test electrical devices such as power supplies, battery assemblies, and PCB’s  
• Assist in troubleshooting gateway computers, and ancillary hardware  
• Make recommendations for electrical layout improvements  
• Assist in monitoring system performance at sub system level

* Skills Required:

* • Must be able to work from PID and wiring schematics  
• Must work well in a cross functional group setting  
• Must be able to use electrical hand held devices such as DVM, and DMM’s  
• Will demonstrate electrical safety practices including Lock-out-tag-out

* Education and Experience:

* • High school diploma with training certification.  
• At least 7 years of related experience.
