Process Technician – Overnight Shift (Fremont, CA) – 2-Year Contract

We are seeking a Process Technician to support R&D and process engineering operations for a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is fully onsite in Fremont, CA, and operates on the graveyard shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM, Monday–Friday).

• Perform technical tests and experiments within an R&D process engineering environment.
• Set up, operate, and maintain processing equipment.
• Prepare samples and execute precision tasks requiring fine motor skills.
• Conduct etch tool operation, thermal paste application, silicon scribing, and microscopy/SEM work.
• Monitor production processes, audit operations, and guide technicians and operators.
• Collect data and create charts, graphs, and reports for engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot issues in process runs and support the development of new processes.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision during the 3rd shift.

• SEM/microscopy experience preferred
• Sample prep, etch tools, thermal paste application, silicon cleaving

• Undergraduate coursework in Materials Science
