Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Drive accountability for capital budgets and schedules associated with construction projects, ensuring safety and quality of work performed.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute project schedules with contractors, property management, customers, vendors, internal stakeholders, municipalities, and government agencies.
- Inspect active construction projects to ensure compliance with company and governmental guidelines.
- Complete post‑construction plant walk‑out including as‑builts to fulfill company standards and local requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in various internal meetings to ensure communication and alignment of initiatives.
- Serve as a market neutral SME on fiber construction solutions and best practices.
- Identify permitting authorities based on proposed routes and complete necessary permit applications.
- Visit permitting authorities to submit applications and obtain permits.

Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Expert understanding of safety construction practices; competent person training certification preferred.
- Expert understanding of fiber route planning and engineering for building entry and network expansion projects.
- Expert understanding of the permitting process for various authorities.
- Expert understanding of fiber splicing and installation practices.
- Ability to build effective relationships with municipalities, government agencies, and vendors.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to track and analyze data against project forecasts.
- Strong critical‑thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment without supervision.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance with a satisfactory driving record.

Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
