Roles and Responsibilities

  • Hold an Engineering degree.
  • Possess 20+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Expertise in ADNOC standards, HSE designs, studies, and HSEIA.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience as a Lead HSE Engineer (E&S) in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Lead HSE Engineer (E&S) in Middle Eastern countries.
  • Accountable for implementing HSEIA processes, HSE project procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
  • Preferably have experience with global EPC contractors or sub-contractors.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities to manage both direct and indirect manpower on-site and ensure timely project progress.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience and Qualification Requirements
  • A minimum of 20+ years in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a lead role.
  • Experience with in the EPC phase of LNG projects.
  • Lead the development of Environmental, Social, and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA).
  • Contribute to the development of ADNOC HSE standards and AGES requirements, execute plant operations, and monitor compliance with ADNOC HSE standards.
  • Participate in site-based assurance activities to ensure occupational health and social impact measures are in place and functioning properly.
  • Provide input on occupational health and social impact considerations for technical designs and proposals to ensure plant, equipment, and installations comply with ADNOC and international standards.
  • Participate in audits and verify implementation of assurance programs.
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk management for all operating activities.
  • Foster a two-way communication culture where employees can report HSE non-compliances.
  • Support ongoing health, safety, and environmental programs to achieve and maintain HSEMS objectives.
  • Well-versed in establishing ADNOC One ERP.
  • Ensure that tools and equipment on-site meet ADNOC HSE requirements.
  • Ensure all work is carried out according to project HSE plans and KPIs.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness, including awareness, equipment, and systems as per emergency plans.
  • Support emergency, fire, and rescue teams during incidents.
  • Stay informed about changes in government regulations and administrative developments.
  • Help ADNOC leadership foster a positive safety culture on-site.
  • Participate in leadership HSE walkthroughs of the site.
  • Safeguard personal and colleague health and safety by adhering to safe work practices, maintaining a safe environment, and complying with HSE requirements.
  • Take immediate action to intervene and stop any unsafe activity or non-compliance with HSE regulations, and report incidents, regardless of position.
