Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction, opportunities, and cost savings. The role involves evaluating bidding, material buyouts, and negotiating opportunities for potential and assigned projects. The Project Manager will maintain effective communication with personnel across various departments including Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Customer Experience, and Facilities. Responsibilities also include completing project startup procedures such as projections, budgeting, and job cost entry for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
You will prepare major purchase orders and review project plans, P&'s, single-line diagrams, and loop diagrams to ensure all material and hardware are accounted for. Managing projects according to company specifications, procedures, and policies is a critical aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction and cost savings.
* Evaluate bidding, material buyouts, and negotiate opportunities for projects.
* Maintain effective communication with personnel across departments including QC, QA, CX, and Facilities.
* Complete project startup procedures including projections, budgeting, and job cost entry.
* Prepare major purchase orders following appropriate pricing and scope evaluations.
* Review project plans and diagrams to account for all material and hardware.
* Manage projects according to company specifications, procedures, and policies.
Essential Skills
* Project management and construction experience.
* Critical role in factory buildout, demolition, upgrading, maintaining operations, and optimizing systems.
* Manage general construction, subcontractors, and self-perform of various trades.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with construction engineering, design, facilities, commissioning, and manufacturing.
* Maintain budgets and schedules from both field and office.

Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
* Experience with large-scale construction projects, 1M SF or more.
* Brown Field and/or Green Field project experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Executive reporting experience and knowledge.
* Effective reasoning and judgment skills.
* Proficiency with or ability to learn Primavera, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite, accounting software, estimating software, and other systems.
* Ability to read and interpret contract documents, plans, specifications, and requirements.

This position is on-site at the Fremont facility. The work environment is dynamic and involves hands-on management of construction projects, requiring collaboration across various departments and disciplines. The role demands a balance of field and office work, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.15 - $100.96/hr.
