We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and validation of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves collaboration across functions to create innovative hardware solutions, perform engineering analysis, and contribute to projects driving cutting-edge semiconductor technologies forward.
Responsibilities- Design and develop hardware and mechanical components for semiconductor equipment
- Create and modify part designs using CAD tools including NX and Inventor
- Perform engineering analysis related to heat transfer, stress, vibration, fluid/gas dynamics, and manufacturability
- Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance and reliability
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions
- Prepare engineering documentation including FMEA, technical specifications, risk analysis, and design review presentations
- Support tooling, fixturing, and process development throughout the product lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
- 4+ years of experience using CAD software including NX and Inventor
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering documentation standards, and manufacturability principles
- Experience performing engineering analysis related to thermal, structural, vibration, or fluid systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working directly with semiconductor equipment suppliers and manufacturing teams
- Ability to lead small engineering projects and mentor less experienced team members
- Strong presentation and communication skills for technical design reviews
- Experience developing tooling, fixtures, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of SEMI, ANSI, DIN, or related engineering standards
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen
