About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead high‑impact quality and process improvement initiatives supporting advanced manufacturing and high‑volume production environments. In this role, you’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and product teams to drive new product launches, improve production efficiencies, and solve complex technical challenges.
You’ll play a critical role in supplier development, process optimization, and contamination reduction efforts while serving as a key advocate for product quality throughout the organization.
What You’ll Do- Lead cross‑functional teams through new product development launches and production release activities
- Drive supplier quality initiatives, process improvements, and contamination reduction efforts
- Implement and utilize quality methodologies including SPC, DOE, FMEA, RCCA, 8D, and 5-Whys
- Develop continuous improvement plans (CIP) to improve first‑pass yield and manufacturing efficiency
- Coordinate supplier development activities and provide technical recommendations based on data analysis and experimentation
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Process Engineering OR graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in high‑volume manufacturing (HVM), MEMS, semiconductor, PCB, or related industries
- 3+ years of experience with quality tools and methodologies including SPC, DOE, FMEA, RCCA, 8D, and 5-Whys problem solving
- Experience with surface treatment processes, precision cleaning, and contamination control
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and statistical software such as JMP or Minitab
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional projects and supplier quality initiatives
- Exposure to surface treatments and/or precision cleaning in semiconductor, MEMS, or PCB environments
- Strong presentation and technical reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Self‑motivated mindset with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
