Tesla is looking for a high-energy, creative Sourcer to support our Hardware Engineering teams. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and recruiters across Vehicle, Cell, AI Hardware, Optimus, and related disciplines to build strong talent pipelines.

Sourcing at Tesla is fast-paced and high-impact. You will identify and engage world‑class hardware engineers who thrive in a mission-driven, no-compromise environment.

• Own full-lifecycle sourcing for Hardware Engineering roles across Palo Alto, Austin, and other sites.
• Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies (Linked In, referrals, conferences, Git Hub, hardware communities, targeted outreach, Boolean searches, etc.) to attract top passive talent from competitors, startups, research institutions, and academia.
• Build and maintain a deep talent pipeline for critical and high-priority hardware roles.
• Partner with Hardware leadership and recruiters to deeply understand technical requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement, pitch Tesla’s mission and opportunities, and generate strong candidate interest.
• Track sourcing effectiveness, provide market insights on talent availability, and continuously refine sourcing approaches.

• 3+ years of full‑cycle technical sourcing experience, preferably in hardware engineering, electronics, battery cell engineering, robotics, or consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of hardware engineering concepts and ability to discuss technical requirements credibly with candidates up to Staff/Principal Engineer level.
• Proven track record of sourcing and engaging passive senior‑level candidates in highly competitive markets.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search, alternative sourcing tools, and creative outreach techniques.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; you thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

$64,000 – $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
