Senior Industrial Engineering Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:
  Develop and deploy long-term industrial engineering strategies focused on operational excellence, cost reduction, OTD and quality.
• Process Optimization:
  Oversee the design and improvement of workflows, labor standards, and production system designs using techniques like Lean Manufacturing, VSM, Six Sigma, and DMAIC.
• Team Management:
  Hire, mentor, and lead a group of engineers and first-level managers. This includes setting performance goals, managing workloads, and fostering professional development. Requires clear communication across functional teams.
• Facility & Layout Planning:
  Direct the design and optimization of plant and warehouse layouts, including space utilization, material flow, and ergonomics. Working knowledge of Auto Cad.
• Capital Project Oversight:
  Manage significant budgets (Cap Ex) for new equipment, automation, and facility retrofits, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meeting ROI targets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner with Sales, PL, PE, QE, TE, WHS and Facilities, to align engineering projects with broader business objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Education:
  
  A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, simulation modeling (e.g., discrete event simulation), Autocad, and ERP software.
• Certifications:
  
  Professional certifications such as PMP, and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Salary: $144-175K + DOE
