Electrical Design Manager

Airswift is looking for an Electrical Design Manager to work for a major O&G company in Freemont, CA, for an initial 6‑month assignment. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our team on a 6‑month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and proven experience leading design initiatives within complex projects.

• Lead and manage electrical design activities across assigned projects.
• Oversee development of electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications.
• Ensure designs meet all technical standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including mechanical, civil, and project management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design engineers.
• Review and approve design deliverables and ensure project timelines are met.
• Support project planning, risk management, and client communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design and leadership/management roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Experience managing design teams and coordinating across disciplines.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
