About the roleWe touch every semiconductor chip that goes into smartphones, smart cars, and AI devices. This is a critical time for the semiconductor industry, and we are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety, compliance, and environmental programs at our Fremont site.
You will own permits, face regulators, and drive a zero‑incident culture. This is not an oversight role – you will personally submit permits, lead incident investigations, and influence site leadership.
What you will do- Personally prepare and submit permits (Title V, RCRA, NPDES, CUPA, HMBP, etc.)
- Interface directly with EPA, OSHA, DTSC, and local fire departments
- Lead incident investigations – root cause analysis, CAPA, JSA/JHA
- Manage hazardous materials – HAZWOPER, spill response, waste programs
- Build safety culture – train teams, lead committees, influence leadership
5+ years EHS in semiconductor, chemical, or industrial manufacturing
RegulatoryPersonal ownership of submissions (not oversight)
Root cause analysis, CAPA, JSA/JHA
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident – no visa sponsorship
- CSP or CIH certification (active? lapsed? panel decides)
- Semiconductor industry depth – specific hazard ownership (HF, NF3, pyrophorics, toxic gas)
