In this role, you'll design and optimize components, support manufacturing processes, and help bring new product concepts to life using cutting‑edge tools and methods.

- Design and support additive manufacturing processes including 3D printing and rapid prototyping
- Create and modify 3D models using NX CAD and apply solid modeling techniques
- Analyze and optimize material‑process‑design relationships
- Interpret engineering drawings and troubleshoot manufacturing issues such as defects or porosity
- Develop test methods, perform inspections, and support failure analysis
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design improvements and new technologies
- 2+ years of experience using NX CAD for 3D modeling and design (required, no exceptions)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or related engineering field
- 3+ years of experience working with sheet metal and machined part design
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM systems
- Experience with additive manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing or rapid prototyping
- Strong problem‑solving skills related to material and manufacturing processes
- Ability to support development of new processes, tools, and training materials
- Position is fully onsite in Fremont, CA (Monday‑Friday, 8:00AM‑5:00PM)
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
- Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs
