We are looking for a HVAC Thermal Engineer to take ownership of thermal system design across vehicle platforms, ensuring optimal performance, comfort, and reliability in all operating conditions. Our focus is on creating fully electric, highly integrated vehicle platforms that combine automotive engineering with advanced consumer technology.

This is a high-impact role where you will serve as the technical lead for all thermal management systems
, from concept through production.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead thermal system architecture including HVAC, battery cooling, and powertrain thermal management
  • Own end-to-end design from concept development to production release
  • Perform thermal simulations and system modeling to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, product)
  • Work with suppliers for component selection, validation, and integration
  • Lead testing and validation of thermal systems
  • Maintain CAD models, BOMs, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Conduct design reviews and drive engineering improvements
  • Stay updated on emerging thermal technologies and automotive innovations
  • Mentor junior engineers and support system-level decision-making
  • 5+ years of experience in thermal systems or HVAC design (automotive or similar industry)
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools
  • Familiarity with automotive OEM standards and thermal integration practices
  • Proven ability to take products from design to production
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • RV or electric vehicle experience is a plus
