Fremont, CA (Onsite)

• Develop and execute validation plans for power delivery systems (PDS) across hardware platforms
• Perform power validation including voltage regulation, current measurement, load testing, and efficiency analysis
• Validate DC-DC converters, VRMs, PMICs, and power sequencing across multiple rails
• Conduct power integrity (PI) analysis including ripple, noise, transient response, and droop measurements
• Perform stress testing, corner testing (voltage, temperature, frequency), and power margin validation
• Analyze inrush current, leakage currents, and power‑on/power‑off sequencing behavior
• Debug power‑related issues using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes (high‑bandwidth), current probes, power analyzers, and DAQs
• Validate low‑power modes and power management features (sleep states, dynamic voltage scaling, etc.)
• Collaborate with design, layout, SI/PI, and firmware teams to resolve power‑related issues

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field. 3–8 years of experience in hardware validation with strong focus on power validation.

Hands‑on experience with power electronics and power delivery systems. Strong understanding of VRMs, PMICs, DC‑DC converters, LDOs, and power architectures. Experience measuring power parameters (voltage, current, noise, efficiency, ripple). Expertise in lab instruments.

• Oscilloscopes with current probes
• Electronic loads
• Power analyzers

Multimeters and DAQs. Knowledge of power sequencing and multi‑rail system dependencies. Familiarity with board schematics, layout, and power tree architecture.

• Experience with scripting (Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW) for automation

• Pay Range Minimum: $88,000 per annum
• Pay Range Maximum: $134,000 per annum

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
