Sr. Staff Mechanical Engineer

Fremont, CA – Fully onsite

• Design and develop R&D equipment, tools, and test fixtures to support feasibility and investigation efforts.
• Collaborate with Operations and Process engineering teams to design equipment/tools supporting production ramp and inspection needs.
• Support existing equipment install base in BE Production and BE Suppliers including troubleshooting, debugging, and new feature requests for both hardware and software.

• Experience in Process Automation and Test Equipment Design.
• Mechanical design expertise using Solid Works or other 3D modeling applications.
• Proficiency in creating Mechanical Detail Drawings, Electrical Wiring schematics, P&, and Plumbing Diagrams.
• Hands‑on experience fabricating hardware using sheet metal, machining, casting, welding, and brazing (e.g., heat exchangers).
• Experience with screen printing, adhesive dispensing, curing, and high‑temperature ceramics.
• Release complex products from design to medium/high volume manufacturing with knowledge of DFM and DFX principles.
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5+ years in NPI/Manufacturing Engineering, Design Development, or a similar organization.
