In this hands‑on role, you'll manage sophisticated test equipment, perform PCB and cable assembly rework, support engineering experiments, and help maintain a world‑class laboratory environment that enables innovation. Responsibilities- Manage calibration schedules and asset tracking for hundreds of pieces of electrical test equipment
- Coordinate equipment repairs and service with external vendors and internal engineering teams
- Maintain laboratory organization, safety, equipment inventories, and tool availability
- Perform PCB rework including through‑hole and surface‑mount soldering, jumper wire installation, and documentation of modifications
- Troubleshoot printed circuit boards using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Build, modify, and repair electrical cable assemblies and wire harnesses
- Assemble and modify prototype electrical enclosures, fixtures, and engineering test hardware
- Support engineering experiments, thermal and humidity testing, component cycling, and test fixture development
- Manage equipment check‑in/check‑out processes and laboratory logistics
- Research components, tools, datasheets, and solutions to support engineering activities
- Associate degree in Electronics or related technical field, or equivalent military electronics experience
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment, electronics manufacturing, or related industry
- 2+ years of experience building and modifying cable assemblies and wire harnesses
- 2+ years of experience performing PCB troubleshooting and rework at the component level
- 2+ years of experience using electronic diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, DVMs, and power meters
- Experience with cable and harness assemblies using Harting, Molex, CPC, Ferrules, Ring Lugs, DSUB, and related connector systems
- Experience with single‑phase and three‑phase 208V/480V AC wiring, contractors, and circuit protection systems
- Familiarity with RF coaxial cable assemblies and RF connectors
- Experience fabricating engineering prototypes and modifying enclosures using drilling, cutting, bending, and sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of LabVIEW programming, RFID asset tracking systems, thermal chambers, and 3D printing
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Curiosity and passion for electro‑mechanical systems and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and computer‑based documentation tools
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
- Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs
